Pre Care Instructions
Please read the following and follow as closely as possible.
Overview
Microblading procedure normally requires multiple treatment sessions. For the best results, clients will be required to return for at least one re-touch appointment. This will take place 6-8 weeks after the initial procedure. Those with oily skin may require an additional touch up.
Please be aware that color intensity will be significantly darker immediately after the first session and a few days after the initial procedure, but the color will reduce by 30-40% the 7 days following the procedure.
Although numbing cream is used during the procedure, sensitivity or discomfort may still be felt. Skin may be red and/or swollen after the procedure. This will disappear in about 20 minutes after the procedure is finished.
Topical Anesthetic Advice
Numbness and discomfort we cannot accept responsibility if the area to be treated does not respond to the numbing cream. Each individual is different according to skin type. Some clients report the area to be completely numb, while others may experience some discomfort.

Post Care Instructions
Please read the following and follow as closely as possible.
Please follow these instructions for 7-10 days after the procedure to improve and prolong the results of your pmu/cosmetic tattoo.
If you don’t follow these instructions, it can greatly affect your pmu/cosmetic tattoo results!
You will be given a take home Aquaphor product that will be applied to the treated area 3-4 times a day.
This ointment will be used to keep the treated area hydrated, during the healing process. ( 7-10 days)
You may blot for the first few hours with a clean and damp paper towel to remove any excess fluids, if necessary.
NOTE**
* Brows will be darker 24 hours following the procedure.
* This color will fade 30-40% during the next 7-10 days
Cleansing:
Pmu/cosmetic tattoo post-care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows.
During the healing process if you my find yourself outside or in a sunny area wear large sunglasses or a hat to cover/shade the treated area.
The following must be avoided during 7- 14 days post- procedure:
Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting a lot of water on the treated area. During the shower, keep your face away from the showerhead or take a bath.
Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post- procedure. However, experience has shown that by following these after-care instructions, these symptoms may quickly disappear.
If you have any unexpected problems with the healing of the skin, please contact the service provider immediately via phone or email , to discuss further instructions.
Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: fever, redness at the site, swelling, tenderness of the procedure site, elevated body temperature or any colored discharge from the treated area.
Pre Care Instructions
No waxing within 24 hours
Let hairs grow out for approximately 2-3 weeks, avoid waxing, plucking, tweezing prior to appt.
Do not wear makeup on brows to appointment
Avoid exfoliants, AHA, retinols on face and brow area for 2 weeks prior to appointment
May shower/bath prior to appointment due to having to wait to shower and wash hair until after 24-48 hours after lamination
No Botox or dermal filler in eyebrow area for at least 4 weeks prior to appointment
Read the contraindications for procedure
Avoid blood thinning mediations, such aspirin, Motrin, Aleve, Vit E, Fish oil, Omega, etc.
Post Care Instructions
Moisturizer should be left on eyebrows for 24hrs
Do not get eyebrows wet for at least 24 hrs
Avoid rubbing, scratching, and picking at eyebrows
Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs, hot showers, excessive sweating, swimming/pools/lakes for 24-48 hrs (preferably 48hrs)
No makeup on eyebrows for at least 24 hours
Oil-based makeup remover should be avoided for 4-8 weeks
No spay tans for at least 3 days to avoid unwanted discoloration to eyebrows
To prevent drying apply oil provided daily after 48 hrs. May use castor oil
Avoid sleeping on eyebrows
Pre Care Instructions
Come to appointment with clean face, no makeup, creams, etc
Avoid alcohol coffee or stimulants 24 hr prior to procedure
Avoid blood thinners 24hrs prior to appointment such as aspirin, Motrin, Niacin, Aleve, Omega 3, Vit B6, etc. *Speak to a physician before stopping any medications necessary for medical
condition
Avoid waxing, tinting, or tanning at least 3 days prior to appointment
No antiaging treatment such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, facial, laser, or retinol at least 4 weeks prior to appointment
Avoid Botox, derma filler, or any facial injections for 4 weeks prior to procedure
Post Care Instructions
Day - Pat brows 3-4 times a day with saline wipes for 7 days
Day 8-until scabs fall off-allow to heal dry
Do not pick or rub treated area, or pull off scabs (want scabbing)
Allow scab to fall off on own
No makeup on the treated area
Minimize water exposure in shower/bath. Keep area as dry as possible, pat dry if get wet
Avoid excess sun exposure and sweating
May tap on brow to relieve itching
Avoid sleeping on face or brow area
Avoid pets licking on treated area or locations with debris or dust in air until healed
Once the scab falls off, apply Vit E oil 3-4 times a day or once at night until the next
appointment. Do NOT apply Vit E oil to open skin
